Chali “Bravo” Mulalami was a legendary Zambian music producer, songwriter, and the founder of Slingbeats Entertainment. He passed away after a short illness, according to the Zambia Association of Musicians.
Bravo played an important role in the growth of Zambia’s contemporary music scene and helped launch the careers of artists such as Mampi, K’millian, Tommy D, Ozzy, Kanji, and Ty2. Through Sling Beats, he produced numerous hit songs and worked on more than 10 successful albums, leaving a lasting mark on Zambian music.
